Camping Spots In Southern Utah

There are some amazing camping spots in Southern Utah. In fact if you are planing to take a Southern Utah vacation you might want to just spend your entire vacation camping around at some of these areas, it is much cheaper than staying at a hotel.

1. Fish Lake

Fish Lake is a perfect spot to go camping and fishing at. This Utah Lake is known for producing great fishing stories. It is also surrounded by the massive Fish Lake National Forests which has a number of great hiking trails and also contains a group of tress that are all fused together to create the worlds largest living organism.

There is just one word of warning I should give you this lake is a perfect R.V. camping area. If you bring a tent you had better come during the summer or you are going to freeze.

2. Any National Park

All of the Utah National Parks are well worth the visit and by camping out at them you can see all there is to see. Every one of these parks contains a camping section and they are all a pretty inexpensive way to go.

3. Green River

The Green River State Park is a fantastic place to camp out because they have some nice fishing and it also contains a golf course so there is a lot to do just on the camp ground. It is also very close to 3 major national parks, Arches, Capitol Reef, and Canyonlands.

The wide selection of things to do definitely makes this a great spot to plan a vacation at.

4. Snow Canyon

Snow canyon is also a nice place to stay; this park is normally not very crowded and contains some amazing lava flow rock formations. Like the green river this park is also next to some National Parks, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon are both relatively close to it.

There are hundreds of areas were you can camp at in Utah. These are just a few nice areas that you may want to check out.
