Many people feel that walking holidays are for the old people and of course the younger couples that want a bit of adventure but this is really not true as many more people such as families would benefit from a trip away like this one.

Kids love the outdoors at least mine ones do and they simply jumped at the chance to go on one of these holidays because they had not been to the location that we were planning on visiting. The decision had been made to go on one of those Costa Rica holidays just because we thought we needed a break.

One of my personal favourite things about a holiday like this one is that there is not really a single piece of technology in site which means it gives the eyes a break certainly for me and the kids anyway. I love my video games as do my kids so getting away to a place like this really did help us all because our eyes were not subject to the usual stuff we see but nature which is a great alternative.

Active holidays are really a good way to get away from the stresses of life and as soon as you are in the big outdoors you just know that you have done the correct thing in staying out there. When you are out in a place like this you get to see the world for what it really is and the wife and I would always try to be up to watch the glorious sun rises.

The kids already want to go back on a trip similar to this one which I am surprised about. I will have to wait until next year as I have promised them a trip to Disney this year.
