- Are you one of those people that really wants to see an Asiatic Elephant. However these animals can be extremely deadly, although these animals have been domesticated, when mating season approaches, and sometimes at random moments, elephants go through a phase could Musth, which quite simply translated means “Madness”.
- There are some animals that you will naturally have a fear of, such as the Leopard. Leopards are extremely fast, outrunning it is impossible, not to mention they have big teeth and big claws. If you are confronted by one, experts suggest you stand your ground! These animals are generally quite shy and will back away from you, finding them is tricky.
- Although this animal is not particularly dangerous, if you come across one, no sudden movements. This mammal is extremely powerful, not to mention quite large, the Sambar Deer. They are generally very calm and do not attack normally unless they feel threatened. They will charge if they feel they are under attack, and weighing in at around 280 kilos each, you don’t want a stampede.
- If your bored of hearing about mammals here are a couple of reptiles. The Swamp Crocodile is one of those animals that will lash out at almost anything that approaches it, many animals and people are considered food. These animals may be fast in the water, but they can also speed over short distances on island.
- When i say lizard, you probably won’t think much of it, read on. This lizard is best known as a Monitor Lizard, and is a deadly creature about 2 and a half metres in length. Please try not to annoy this creature!
