Sri Lanka is the holiday destination choice for me for these reasons. This is going to be one of the biggest holidays of the year according to several tour operators. There are a few people that do not research a country they are going to at all, so this should help out a bit. If you have never been here before but are considering it, definitely go, just read this first!

The flight to Sri Lanka may set you back quite a lot in terms of cash, but once you get there the prices are unbelievably low? There is no much in the way of expenses to pay. Now although it will cost a fair bit for you to actually to get to Sri Lanka, costs over there are very low. The hotels here are an absolute wonder, so once your in your sorted. Sri Lanka hotels are well known for treating their customers extremely well. There is also a lovely chance for you to indulge in a safari, the majority of the time people like to explore this country, and this activity allows you to do this. If you want to try and experience a great time of adventure then this is great for you, safaris are available all year round in the jungles and rain forests of Sri lanka. Sri Lanka offers a great experience of fun and excitation for anyone who visits.

This isn’t a holiday without any down falls, there are a few things that you may want to know about it. The weather is one of them, the rainy season comes about around October and through January, and there is no avoiding it. The rain is truly immense. The rain may be annoying, but some can muddle through it, there are other reasons that may put you off. This country is in a state of poverty, and is being constantly battled in Civil war, although it has died down a little recently. Just make sure that you don’t enter the forests without a guide or a tour, it is important to make sure someone is with you at all times. I can’t stand needles, so the injections that you need for certain parts of Sri Lanka simply aren’t worth it for me!

Sri Lanka holidays have become very popular, but if you want something more relaxing and less dangerous, you should try Maldives holidays or Caribbean holidays!
