From Hard Labor to Easy Living – My Trip to Colorado

Uncategorized

Living in Connecticut and working my butt off almost every day, I needed to escape. I had been working for a Connecticut painting company and my back was so sore that I had to see a chiropractor. I guess I just knew that I needed some time away. Rather than hit the beach or travel to some exotic island I decided to head for the mountains. I decided to fly to Colorado to spend sometime in the great outdoors.

I called a Denver limousine service picked me up at Denver International Airport. My first night in town we went to a Colorado Rockies game and the Rockies beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3 to 1. The next day I took a trip to Breckenridge Colorado and I went fly fishing in the local river. I landed seven nice trout and it was great to be surrounded by a mountain range while fishing such beautiful waters. We kept one of the fish we caught and deep fried it in peanut oil. With a side of rice pilaf this was a great meal.

I went to Boulder for a conference that I wanted to attend. There was a seminar are going on that was about various ways to make money online. I actually learned a lot and I am excited to try and create some residual income on the Internet. But I decided to try and not think about work and get back to relaxing.

I went to the Broadmoor Hotel and got a little toasty at their bar in the downstairs lobby. If you have never been to the Broadmoor resort, you should go. They view of the mountains from the hotel is amazing and I took a hike around the resort grounds. I even played on their world class golf course where I shot a 7 over par with one eagle. All in all I would highly recommend a visit to Colorado for anyone who is looking to get away.
