Why not get married in the Caribbean?

Weddings abroad have slowly become a very popular choice for many that are planning their weddings. Over the past couple of years, this has become very popular, and it might have something to do with the price. The price of getting married abroad is significantly lower than some costs of getting married at home. The only problem with this is the problem that you will not be able to take that many people with you. If you do want to have a small wedding then this is a great opportunity for you?

These two islands may appear to be the obvious choices but this is exactly why I am writing this article. So first up I think we should have a look at St Lucia, the most amazing place to go in the Caribbean to just relax. It’s almost as though St Lucia was built to be the wedding capital of the world. Their is one resort in particular that springs to mind, the Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort and now that it has been refurbished it is truly a wonder to behold now. There is 22 acres of tropical garden behind the hotel and in front is a clear white sanded beach. If you are worrying about where you can have something to eat and drink, then don’t there are many bars and restaurants within walking distance!

Barbados is just around the corner, and the most easterly of the islands. If your thinking about Barbados, i would suggest that the younger couples should indulge in this. If you like to party right the way through the night, then this would be great for you. There is one hotel in particular on the island of Barbados that is just made for the perfect wedding, it’s called “The House”. Seriously have a look at it, its amazingly beautiful. Most Tour Operators will arrange for you to have the wedding ceremony for free if you stay for at least a week! This is where they come up trumps and supply you and your guests with both food and drink.

So weddings abroad, there is of course just St Lucia holidays or Barbados holidays, it all depends what you fancy!
